Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still young. She received a Bachelor's of Arts with a major in Theater from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at the very least two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto in order to develop her acting career in the month of November 1999. During the following decade relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. The couple began their engagement in 2009, and they were married at the civil ceremony on December. After she had converted to Judaism the couple took their vows to each other again at a Jewish ceremony on the 10th April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13 in 2016. Silk is a variety of Television roles, such as Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. The year 2009 saw her cast as Bo Dennis, the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during shooting the finale of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on Season Four. On June 20, 2013 Silk declared on Twitter she would be returning to the series. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo the aforementioned Lauren (Zoie Parker) in the show Lost Girl as same-sex couples the most cherished TV Couples. E!
