Prof. Gail S. Goodman, the Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. Her name has been recognized as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories within legal contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific author, has won many awards and grants. She has advised numerous administrations and agencies across the world about policies and studies pertaining to child victims of the law by the system. She acts as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations, which include the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
